GableStage hosts a benefit play reading of Michelle Rosenfarb's award-winning "The Gates of Choice." Set in the Israeli Ultra-Orthodox quarter Mea Shearim, the play follows a young Hasidic woman facing an arranged marriage. Searching for an identity, she finds solace in a forbidden relationship and questions her religion. Proceeds go toward an education fund for the local playwright, who was recently accepted into New York University's prestigious Master of Fine Arts Dramatic Writing Program. 7:30 p.m. GableStage, 1200 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables.
