GOOD VS. EVIL
Set in Northern India, "Raavan" is a battle between good versus evil. When Dev and his new wife move to Lal Maati, a small town run dominated by an overbearing tribe, he makes it his mission to restore the police and remove the group from power. But as good and evil blur, Dev’s actions sets a chain of events in action that claims lives and changes fortunes. Films "Cinema Paradiso" and "Room with a View" will be screened one after the other. "Cinema Paradiso," a 1988 film, is the story of a famous director’s life, long lost love and beginnings of his passion for film, told mostly through flashbacks as he visits his native Sicilian village for the first time in almost 30 years. In 2009 Swedish film "The Girl Who Played With Fire," two reporters are murdered the night after an article they wrote exposing a major sex-trafficking operation between Eastern Europe and Sweden is published, implicating important, well-known members of Swedish society. And then, the fingerprints found on the murder weapon are linking to a familiar name. This film is the second installment of the "Millennium" trilogy following "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo."
