LIVING ON THE RUN
   Miami Beach Cinematheque presents a screening of the 50th anniversary restoration of 1959 French film "Breathless," directed by Jean-Luc Godard, at a Miami Beach hotel. Michel, a young criminal who emulates Humphrey Bogart's film persona, must hid from the law after he steals a car in Marseille and shoots the policeman who chased after him on a country road. Penniless, he holes up with his American girlfriend Patricia, an American student and aspiring journalist who hawks the New York Herald Tribune on the streets of Paris. Drama ensues, including a pregnancy scare and plans of fleeing to Italy, ending in a famed final scene.
