"DINO ISLAND"

   Roam among Jurassic reptiles at the Miami Children’s Museum’s "Dino Island" exhibit. The 2,500-square-foot, custom-built set is home to nine lifelike dinosaurs, including a Tyrannosaurus Rex and a Triceratops mother and baby, that walk, feed and roar. Other features include a periodically erupting volcano and a fossil-dig station. Ends Jan. 2. Miami Children’s Museum, 980 MacArthur Causeway, Watson Island. CULINARY KIDS

   Kids can learn to cook and eat healthy at a two-week summer camp with cooking instructor Cindy Hill. Activities include gardening, nutrition fun and daily cooking instruction. Campers will prepare nutritious lunches with organic ingredients. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Ends July 30. FAIRCHILD FARM

   Children 6 to 10 can learn about nature through art and science activities at the Fairchild Farm Summer Camp, an arm of Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Four weeklong sessions include hands-on activities, field trips and daily lunch and snacks. 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Ends Aug. 6. SUMMER FUN

   City of Miami Parks is offering summer camps at 27 parks. Activities include swimming lessons, field trips, sports, a talent show and an end-of-summer picnic. ON THE WATER

   Campers can spend their summer sailing, kayaking and windsurfing at Shake-A-Leg Miami’s Watersports Camp, open to children 8-14. Ends Aug. 20.
