GIVE BACK
The Community Partnership for the Homeless is collecting school supplies and uniforms for 125 children who live at its two assistance centers. "DINO ISLAND"
Roam among hordes of Jurassic reptiles at the Miami Children's Museum's "Dino Island" exhibit. The 2,500-square-foot, custom-built set is home to nine lifelike dinosaurs, including a Tyrannosaurus Rex and a Triceratops mother and baby, that walk, feed and roar. Other features include a periodically erupting volcano and a fossil-dig station. Ends Jan. 2. Miami Children's Museum, 980 MacArthur Causeway, Watson Island. SUMMER FUN
City of Miami Parks is offering summer camps at 27 parks. Activities include swimming lessons, field trips, sports, a talent show and an end-of-summer picnic.
