CHILDREN Thursday 7/8 GIVE BACKThe Community Partnership for the Homeless is collecting school supplies and uniforms for 125 children who live at its two assistance centers. Details: (305) 329-3030 or donations@cphi.org. "DINO ISLAND" Roam among hordes of Jurassic reptiles at the Miami Children's Museum's "Dino Island" exhibit. The 2,500-square-foot, custom-built set is home to nine lifelike dinosaurs, including a Tyrannosaurus Rex and a Triceratops mother and baby, that walk, feed and roar. Other features include a periodically erupting volcano and a fossil-dig station. Ends Jan. 2. Miami Children's Museum, 980 MacArthur Causeway, Watson Island. Monday 7/12 SUMMER FUNCity of Miami Parks is offering summer camps at 27 parks. Activities include swimming lessons, field trips, sports, a talent show and an end-of-summer picnic. ON THE WATER Campers can spend their summer sailing, kayaking and windsurfing at Shake-A-Leg Miami's Watersports Camp, open to children 8-14. Ends Aug. 20.
