THEATER Thursday 6/17 PRAYING FOR CHANGEBased on Nobel Prize-winning book "The Bluest Eye," the M Ensemble Company presents a stage version of the classic. Set in 1940s Ohio, "The Bluest Eye" is the tragic story of Pecola Breedlove, a young black girl who prays for blue eyes to save her from the rampant racism that encompasses her community. 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 3 p.m. Sunday.
