CREEPY/WACKY

   Nicky Silver’s dark comedy "Raised in Captivity" opens with estranged twins attending their mother’s funeral after she was killed by a broken flying shower head. Things only get weirder with a ghost, a convicted murderer, a male escort and a therapist, resulting in a wacky, absurd comedy about family values, relationships and self discovery. Times vary. RELIGIOUS CLASH

   Two Holocaust survivors and former friends-turned-enemies meet by chance years down the road. Both have suffered tragic loss, but one remained a deeply religious Jew and the other has turned his back on God. AMERICAN JUSTICE

   Actors’ Playhouse presents the world premier of South Florida playwright Michael McKeever’s "Unreasonable Doubt." This thought-provoking look at the American justice system centers on Ty Bosworth, who knows who savagely raped and murdered his daughter but is unable to touch him. So he does what he thinks is the next best thing, kidnapping the defense attorney who put his daughter’s killer back on the street. 8 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday. 2 p.m. Sunday. Ends June 6.
