CHROMATIC EXPERIENCE
   At Miami Art Museum's newest exhibit, visitors can travel through four chromatic light installations by Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz Diez, "experiencing" the spaces' colors through their interactions. CHARACTER STUDY
   Carol Jazzar Contemporary Art gallery presents Miami artist David Rohn's "In Characters," a solo exhibit composed mostly of performance and lens-based media. The artist will perform three characters that explore famed psychological theorist Carl Jung's archetypes at the opening reception. 7-11 p.m. Exhibit runs through April 11. CUBAN MASTER

PAINFUL PIECES
   "Instruments of Torture through the Ages," an exhibit of almost 100 instruments for torture or execution, opens. The collection is on loan from the Museo Toscana in Italy and includes examples of a spiked collar, guillotine, interrogation chair and more.
