CHILDREN Thursday 11/26 SAVING THE CITYThe Playground Theatre hosts a production of the Sumerian legend "Inanna and the Huluppu Tree." The 4,000-year-old story tells of celebrating the victory of the young goddess, Inanna, who restores harmony to an ancient city ravaged by endless storms and angry gods. Ends Dec. 20. Saturday 11/28 PARISIAN PLAYBased on Ludwig Bemelmans' popular book series, "Madeline's Christmas" begins like an ordinary day for the 12 girls in the old house in Paris. Yet soon after, Madeline is the only one out of the 12 little girls in Ms. Clavel's care who hasn't come down with the flu on Christmas day.
