BRAZILIAN BEATS
   The Miami Symphony Orchestra, led by guest conductor Luiz Fernando Malheiro, will play the music of Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos as part of the 2009 Brazilian Classical Series. Double-Headed Opener
   The Florida Grand Opera's 69th season opens with a two-in-one performance. In "Pagliacci," a successful clown plots a gruesome revenge to soothe his secret inner pain: his cheating spouse has taken a young lover. And in "Suor Angelica," a dazzling young aristocrat is banished to life as a nun for her teenage pregnancy, only to realize too late that she has committed a mortal sin.
