TOURISM AWARDS
   Roger Dow, president and CEO of the US Travel Association, will be keynote speaker at the 19th Annual South Florida Tourism Professional of the Year and Champion Recognition Award Luncheon. JAM AT MAM
   At the always-happening JAM at MAM mix-and-mingle event, event-goers can expect cocktails, gourmet hor d'oeuvres, a live DJ and a visit to the eclectic Miami Art Museum. This month's event ties in with the opening of new exhibits, "Carlos Bunga: Metamorphosis" and "Space as Medium." Metamorphosis" features large-scale depictions of temporary street shelters made from disposable materials like cardboard and packing tape that explore the impermanence of contemporary urban life. HYPER-LOCAL MEDIA

GOOD TIMES IN THE GROVE
   Grove-goers take to the streets as Commodore Plaza is closed to cars for the evening, replaced by local artists showcasing their works and live entertainment. MR. DEERING'S BALL
