   The University of Miami’s Ring Theatre presents Shakespeare’s "Hamlet." BLAST FROM THE PAST

   The Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre hosts Roger Bean’s Off-Broadway "The Marvelous Wonderettes." The play, set at a 1958 high school prom, features songs from the 1950s and ’60s and tells of a group of friends preparing to embark on life’s journey. Ends Nov. 21.    Broadway Across America presents a performance of the stirring musical "The Color Purple."
