| ART Thursday 9/3 ART ATTACK!The University of Miami's Lowe Art Museum welcomes Travel Channel host Lee Sandstead lecturing on "I'm Having an Art Attack!" AFRICAN INFLUENCE "Black Crossroads: The African Diaspora in Miami" explores the impact of African-Americans, Africans, black Caribs and black Hispanics on Miami through historic photographs, oral histories, memorabilia, film and artifacts related to black pioneers, families, laborers, communities and organizations spanning the 100-year history of black migration to Miami. FROM THE PAST The Bass Museum of Art will open an exhibit of Renaissance and Baroque artwork from its permanent collection.
