The Miami Beach Cinematheque presents the Oscar-winning film "Departures." Shot in Japan, the movie follows a devoted cellist who loses his job and becomes an "encoffineer," a person who prepares deceased bodies for burial. The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts hosts the Florida premiere of "RiseUp." The documentary showcases Jamaica’s underground music community and the struggles, dreams and aspirations of three young artists vying for their shot at success.
