WILDLIFE SEARCH

MOONLIGHT TOUR

FARMER’S MARKET

   Bayfront Park’s Farmer’s Market returns for another year, bringing fresh produce to the heart of downtown. Vendors will be selling exotic fruits, organic honey, orchids, herb plants and homemade guacamole as well as new vendors selling organic body-care products, baked goods and ceviche. 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Bayfront Park, 301 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. Saturday 3/7

   Help restore the natural areas of Miami-Dade County by removing exotic vegetation, restoring native vegetation, enhancing trails and conducting clean-up activities. Volunteers will be taught to identify invasive plants while gaining a greater understanding of South Florida’s ecosystems. 9 a.m.-Noon.    The 16th annual Kite Day Festival will feature activities for kite lovers of all ages, including kite-flying competitions, paper kite-building classes and spontaneous candy drops throughout the event from high-flying kites.
