A DIFFERENT KIND OF DANCE
   The Miami Contemporary Dance Company presents "Nonna's Pasta Dances" based on the life of company choreographer Ray Sullivan. He takes his memories of cooking with his Italian grandmother and introduces audiences to crazy, over the top characters and zany, off the wall dances. 8 p.m. Ends Feb. 21. BREAKER, BREAKER
   Miami Dade College's Cultura Del Lobo performance series hosts poet Marc Bamuthi Joseph for the multimedia performance, "the break/s." This performance is a journey through the history of hip-hop music presented in verse, dance and film inspired by Jeff Chang's 2005 book, "Can't Stop Won't Stop." 8 p.m. Feb. 20 and 21.
