KEEP ON COUNTING
Darkly comic and heartbreakingly beautiful, the award-winning musical adaptation of Elmer Rice’s 1923 play "Adding Machine" tells the story of Mr. Zero, who after 25 years of service to his company is replaced by a mechanical adding machine. The play is a satiric view of capitalism that bears comparison with today’s unsettled economy. Ends Feb 1. GableStage at the Biltmore, 1200 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables. Details: (305) 446-1116 or www.gablestage.org.
The Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre hosts the world premiere of the play based on the book, "The Miami Bombshells." It’s the story of six imperfect women who grew from stressed out strangers to lifelong friends. Ends Feb. 8. Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre, 280 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables. Details: (305) 444-9293 or www.actorsplayhouse.org.
