SEARCH FOR IDENTITY
   The M Ensemble Company opens its season with the Pulitzer Prize-winning "Joe Turner's Come and Gone." Set in the early 20th century, the play follows the African-American search for their cultural identity following the repression of slavery. SHORTENED SHAKESPEARE
   A smash hit in London and across the US, "Shakespeare (abridged)" is an irreverent 97-minute race through the Bard's 37 plays performed by just three versatile actors, including Austin Tichenor and Reed Martin, managing partners of the Reduced Shakespeare Company. Designed for Shakespeare fans and phobics alike, the Miami production will feature updates incorporated in a London revival last year. Ends Jan. 18. PRINTING-PRESS PLAYWRIGHTS
   The Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre hosts a self-deprecating musical by Scott Brown and Anthony King. "Gutenberg!
