The Miami Beach Cinematheque hosts Czech filmmaker Jiri Menzel's latest film "I Served the King of England." The film first follows a young, ambitious man prior to World War II and later picks up when he seeks solitude in an abandoned German village whose inhabitants were expelled after the war. 7:30 and 9:40 p.m. Ends Dec. 20.
