"FIREBIRD"
Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida launches its 2008-2009 season with Vladimir Issaev's version of Igor Stravinsky's "Firebird." The ballet tells the story of a magical firebird that helps a heroic prince rescue a beautiful princess from Katscheii, a sinister force of evil. Ends Oct. 26. ISRAELI DANCE
The the Inbal Pinto Avshalom Pollak Dance Company opens Miami Dade College's Cultura del Lobo Performance Series with a performance of "Shaker."
