The Firebird Chamber Orchestra and the Peacock Studio Theater make their debut with a performance of "Something Old, Something New." As part of the Chamber Music Series, founding members of the Living Artist Concert Series will perform a new work by Judith Shatin along with works by Erno Dohnányi, F. Delius and J. Brahms. Mariusz Patyra, Polish violinist and winner of the 2001 Paganini Competition, will make a Miami appearance with the Florida International University School of Music. Tigertail opens its 2008-2009 season with a performance by jazz trumpeter Eric Vloeimans and his trio Fugimundi.
