CHILDREN Thursday 10/9 AFTERSCHOOL AT THE PARKMiami-Dade County Parks and Recreation Department is offering an after-school program offering homework assistance, active games, quiet games, and arts and crafts. 2-6 p.m. Weekdays. 17555 SW 79th Ave., Palmetto Bay. $30-$35. INSCHOOL SERIES The PlayGround Theatre company is available to make stops at local schools to create an interactive introduction to the inner workings of a stage production. CHILDREN'S ART CLASSES The Bill Sadowski Park and Nature Center hosts eight weeks of multimedia-art classes for children that use nature as inspiration.
