TASTE OF THE NATION
   The 21st annual Share our Strength's Taste of the Nation Miami will feature an eco-friendly theme with organic dishes, biodegradable plates and utensils and eco-shaped water bottles. All ticket proceeds to benefit the Daily Bread Food Bank, Florida Impact and North Florida Educational Development Corporation. The VIP champagne reception and preview will take place at 6 p.m. The general admission event begins at 7 p.m. The Ritz-Carlton, 455 Grand Bay Dr., Key Biscayne. $250 VIP tickets; $125 general admission. WAR REMEMBRANCE

SOTTSASS MIRRORS
   imoderni Project Space has chosen Miami as the first city in the United States to unveil Glas Italia products which include Di Dioniso mirrors designed by Ettore Sottsass. On display will be five of the six mirrors in this very significant collection. imoderni will auction one mirror on the evening of the event. The winner will have the experience of being first to hang this mirror in the United States. Tickets for the drawing will be $50. CANCER WORKSHOP
   The Wellness Community presents a workshop at which participants can ask doctors about gastrointestinal cancers and the latest advancements in the treatments of these cancers.
