Apparel trade show
Trafik is an apparel tradeshow that will feature more than 300 clothing brands from around the world. The trade show, meant for retailers, will be open to the general public Aug. 16. 3 p.m. at Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Dr., Miami Beach. Visitors will get to see the latest seasonal designs before they hit department stores in South Florida. Free.

Gablestage at the Biltmore Hotel presents "The Lieutenant of Inishmore," a black comedy directed by Joseph Adler and written by Martin McDonagh about violence in society. The play premieres Saturday. 8 p.m. at 1200 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables. The play runs through Sept. 9. $40.
