LOCAL HEROES

MULTIDIMENSIONAL ART

CELIA CRUZ

   Bass Museum of Art presents Azúcar! The Life and Music of Celia Cruz. The traveling exhibition, organized by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, features childhood items, photographs, costumes, music and rare footage of the late Cuban singer. CERAMIC ART

   Lowe Art Museum hosts an opening reception for Clay and Brush: The Ceramic Art of China. The exhibition will display the history of Chinese ceramics from the Neolithic period to the 21st century. ELDERS TRIBUTE

   The Art of Aging exhibition is a tribute to elders and their way of life. DINOSAUR EXHIBIT

   The Miami Science Museum opens the exhibition the Dinosaurs of China. The collection will include dozens of dinosaur and bird fossils and mounted skeletons. PHOTO EXHIBITION
