ART Opening reception The Miami Beach Botanical Garden hosts an opening reception for Shanghai Modern, a painting exhibition by Lu Zhide. The exhibition will feature women in 1930s Shanghai. DANCE Ballet premiere Carnival Center for the Performing Arts features Miami City Ballet's Program II. ELSEWHERE King Arthur's folly See King Arthur and his knights riding on invisible horses to the sound of stomping coconut shells as they go on a quest for the Holy Grail in "Spamalot." Ballet for a King In honor of Martin Luther King Jr., Broward Center for the Performing Arts presents the King Holiday-Sounds of Freedom concert.
