Water art
   Miami Beach Botanical Garden features a water-themed art exhibit and classical concert. An opening reception for a watercolor art exhibit of the Florida Everglades by Cassie Winters will be today (10/19), 5:30-7:30 p.m. A classical concert performed by the South Florida Chamber Ensemble will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday. Both events are free and will be at 2000 Convention Center Dr., Miami Beach.

Controversial art
   Artist Juan-S" Gonzalez showcases his artistic interpretations of various races, cultures, languages, politics and religions in the Patriotic Games and The Domino Effect exhibition. 'Viva con Valdes'

Kite fest
   You may see cows, fishes and dragons flying in the sky at the 15th annual Kitetoberfest at Haulover Park. The event features a kite-flying competition, classes and other activities for the family. Noon-5 p.m. at 10800 Collins Ave., unincorporated Miami-Dade County. Free.

Neoclassical play
