Eric Poms has high-profile job ahead of him as he becomes fifth CEO in the history of the Orange Bowl Committee

   When Keith Tribble gave up role as the top staff person for the Orange Bowl Committee to become athletic director at the University of Central Florida, the organization did not need go far to find a replacement. It chose as the new chief executive officer effective June 1 someone who had been serving with distinction as chief operating officer for 13 years.
   He is Eric Poms, who came to South Florida as a toddler and grew up here. Mr. Poms spoke of his new role as the fifth leader in the Orange Bowl Committee's history in an interview with Miami Today international editor Michael Hayes.
