'DAIRY OF ANNE FRANK'
   The Miami Children's Theatre presents an adaptation of newly discovered writings from the diary of Anne Frank as well as survivor accounts, creating the contemporary story of the lives of people persecuted under Nazi rule. Frank emerges from history as a lyrical, intensely gifted young girl who confronts her rapidly changing life and the increasing horror of her time with astonishing honesty, wit and determination. 7 p.m. today (12/8) and Dec. 15, 8 p.m. Saturday and Dec. 17 and 2 p.m. Sunday at Russell Theatre, Alper Jewish Community Center, 11155 SW 112th Ave., $12. 'GUYS AND DOLLS'
   Set in New York, this oddball romantic comedy introduces a cast of vivid characters - Sarah Brown, out to reform the evildoers of Time Square; Sky Masterson, who woos her on a bet and ends up falling in love; Adelaide, the nightclub performer whose condition is brought on by the fact she's been engaged to the same man for 14 years; and Nathan Detroit, her devoted fiancÈ. 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Coral Gables Youth Center Theatre, 405 University Ave., Coral Gables. $10-$20.
