WINTER METEOR SHOWERS
   Southern Cross Astronomical Society will present "Winter Meteor Showers" with Lew Gramer, SCAS member and astronomer affiliated with the North American Meteor Network and Int'l Meteor Organization. He will discuss how to accurately record and report meteor showers, often interspersed with blazing fireballs. The SCAS program will include prizes, food buffet, discussions and skywatch on the terrace of the FIU Astronomy Ceter. 8 p.m. at the Physics Building, University Park, SW 109 Ave. and Eighth St., Miami. GARDEN FESTIVAL
   Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden hosts the Ramble-A Garden Festival featuring antiques and collectibles, rare books and a plant sale. GOLF TOURNAMENT
   The 13th annual Thanksgiving gulf tournament presents a day of games and competitions benefiting The Foundation Fighting Blindness. 'CARS & FISH'
   Miami Performing Arts Center presents "Cars & Fish" a huge multimedia installation, marking the first large-scale public event produces on the grounds of MPAC.
