'FIT PIT TOUR'

FUNDRAISER HARVEST
   The Historical Museum of Southern Florida presents its annual fundraiser harvest. The event includes 200 booths of homemade crafts, food products, artwork, live plants and agricultural products. Live music stage including performances by Irish fiddler, James Kelly, Century Steel Orchestra and Siempre Flamenco. Children can enjoy the petting zoo, face painting and performances from Actors' Playhouse Theatre. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Fair & Expo Center, 10901 Coral Way. $2-$6. TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
   Bayfront Park's Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony will encompass live holiday music and fireworks and the "official" lighting of the holiday tree, which will remain in the park throughout the holiday season. Bayfront Park will utilize this event as one of the drop locations for the sixth annual Starbucks Holiday Angels Joy Drive. All donations will benefit the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation and will be distributed in area hospitals throughout the year. 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at Bayfront Park, 301 N. Biscayne Blvd., Miami. 'FESTIVAL OF THE TREES'
    Dozens of South Florida's premier design professionals kick off the winter holiday season with the 19th annual "Festival of the Trees" preview gala. Proceeds benefit the Gloria Blake Interior Design Scholarship Fund at the Florida International University's School of Architecture. 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at One Brickell Square, 801 Brickell Ave., Miami. $45-$50. FUND RAISER
   The Miami Firefighter department host a party and contest "Miami's Hairiest Firefighter" to benefit local firehouses. The winner will take home a $2,500 laser hair removal treatment, and the winning firehouse receives more than $2,000 in prizes. 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at The Sandbar Grill, 3064 Grand Ave., Coconut Grove. SPREAD THE JOY EVENT
   United Nations Association of Greater Miami hosts its first annual "Spread the Joy Event." The purpose of the event is to spread some hoiday cheer into the lives of underprivileged children in the community. The evetn will include live music, a choir, egg nog, and Christmas cookies along with other goodies. The donations will be given to al local orphanage and Jackson Memorial Hospital Children's Unit in where member of UNA-GM will spend time with these children and let them un-wrap the gifts. $6 donations or reading books or school supplies.
