AMERICAN SIGNATURES
   Miami City Ballet celebrates its 20th-anniversary season with the opening of Program I featuring jazz choreography by Edward Villella. The performance will feature acrobatic ballet and demanding jumps in the works of Donizetti Variations and Prodigal Son. The jazz routine segment "The Quick-Step" features a section of Villella's ballet "The Neighborhood Ballroom." 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, 201 SW Fifth Ave., Fort Lauderdale. $20-$93. ëASIASONG ON OUR SOIL'
   A dance piece created by artistic director Ray Sullivan in response to the tragedies caused by Asia's tsunami disaster and Hurricane, contrasts images of the disasters with sounds of traditional Asian, new age and heartfelt, lively New Orleans music.
