MUSEUMS Thursday 10/6 SPANISH COLONIZATIONIn honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Historical Museum of Southern Florida presents "The Spanish Colonization of Florida" exhibit focused on Florida's transformation through the eyes of Spanish explorers. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and Sunday noon-5 p.m. through Jan. 15 at the museum, 101 W Flagler St., Miami. $5.
