ARCHAEOLOGY AT THE DAWN OF HISTORY
   An exhibition of archeological finds takes up temporary residence at the Lowe Art Museum. The Khirbet Iskander Collection is a unique gathering of cultural remains from the only known city in Canaan during the Early Bronze IV period, approximately 4,000 years ago. The collection includes ceramic pottery, tools and religious objects gathered from excavations since 1981.Through June 5 at the Lowe Art Museum, 1301 Stanford Dr., Coral Gables. SHALOM Y'ALL
   The Jewish Museum of Florida presents Shalom Y'all, an exhibition focusing on images of Jewish life in the American South. This photographic exhibit depicts contemporary Jewish America through people's humorous and sometimes tragic experiences. CALYPSO MUSIC
   The Historical Museum of Southern Florida presents Calypso Music in Postwar America: Photographs and Illustrations, a conference that explores the relationship between Caribbean music and Caribbean literature. Event includes photographs, sheet music, songbooks, record album covers and movie posters. HUBBLE TELESCOPE IMAGES
