   The NextGen International Film Festival presents movies from around the world produced for young audiences in the native language of their country of origin. With free film screenings for Miami-Dade Public School students, middle- and high-school students learn about foreign language, culture and reading while also recognizing the common issues faced by youth throughout the world. PAINTERS PAINTING
   The Bass Museum of Art presents a screening of Emile de Antonio's 1972 documentary featuring extended interviews with renegade artists of the American post-World War II period such as de Kooning, Rauschenberg, Warhol and Stella. 3 p.m. at the Bass Museum of Art, 2121 Park Ave., Miami Beach.
