CHOPIN PIANO COMPETITION
   The Gusman Center for the Performing Arts hosts the Seventh National Chopin Piano Competition. 25 young American pianists will compete for eight days for a chance to be in the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. Through Sunday at the Gusman Center

BAROQUE MUSIC FESTIVAL
   The Miami Bach Society presents the sixth weeklong series of the Tropical Baroque Music Festival featuring musicians from different countries including Trinidad, Canada, France, Italy and the United States.

'OLIVER'

MUSICAL REVIEW
   Byron Carlyle Theater hosts "Sacha," a musical about a young girl's dream of becoming a Broadway star, written by Philip Michael Thomas and Sandi Morais. Dino Penta is King Akaash and Timetta Phillips is Sacha, who battles with self-doubt and fear of failure. This musical sends a positive message to people of all ages. 8 p.m. March 19, 3 pm. AFTERNOON OF MUSIC
   Sunday Afternoons of Music will present a concert by soprano Helen Donath and pianist Klaus Donath. 'AIDA'
