‘SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD’

‘EDGE’

   Coconut Grove Playhouse presents "Edge," a play by Paul Alexander that revisits February 1963 as the final hours of 20th-century poet Sylvia Plath’s life is reconstructed. The play tells of her childhood, her life as a poet and her relationship with English poet Ted Hughes. Through March 27 at the Coconut Grove Playhouse, 3500 Main Hwy. $35-$25. ‘MARISOL’

   Florida International University presents Jose Rivera’s "Marisol." Marisol is a copy editor for a Manhattan publisher. After escaping a vicious attack, she is visited by her guardian angel, which escorts her through myriad adventures.
