NEWS RETROSPECTIVE
    The Louis Wolfson II Florida Moving Image Archive presents a retrospective of news kinescopes from Miami's WCKT-TV, Channel 7. Featuring four programs. "The Age For Space," aired September 16, 1963, examines Florida's prospect to attract and retain industry in the technologically advanced Space Age. "Crisis Amigo," aired early 1960s, Chronicles the problems facing Miami after the Cuban refugee influx. "This Is Wayne Fariss: Moscow," aired June 14, 1959, explores the visit of nine state governors, including Florida's, to the Soviet Union. "The Bitter End," aired August 16, 1964, examines the history and philosophy of American right wing ideologies. 1-3 p.m. at the Miami-Dade Public Library Auditorium, 101 W. Flagler St., Miami. Free.
