‘TWO TRAINS RUNNING’
The M Ensemble Actor’s Studio presents "Two Trains Running," by Pulitzer Prize-winning author August Wilson. Set in 1969 Pittsburgh, the changing urban community is viewed by a group of regular diners at Memphis Lee’s Restaurant. The Mosaic Theatre will present Yasmina Reza’s play "Art." The dark comedy focuses on three friends and the arguments that ensue after one friend purchases a painting that looks like a white canvas. ‘BEAUTY AND THE BEAST’
Actors’ Playhouse presents Disney’s "Beauty and the Beast." Join Belle, the Beast, Lumiere and Mrs. Potts as they perform this enchanted love story. The first five consecutive Saturdays of this performance will include a character brunch where the whole family can enjoy brunch with Belle and the Beast. 8 p.m. Wednesdays-Saturdays; 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Jan. 2 at the Miracle Theatre, 280 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables. The GableStage presents the Florida premier of "Bug" by Tracy Letts, the author of "Killer Joe." The Ballet Etudes Company of South Florida present the 30th anniversary performance of the "Nutcracker." The performance will feature Maria Kowroski and Charles Askegard, principal dancers from the New York City Ballet, as the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Cavalier. The production will showcase new sets and scenery, a full orchestra and colorful costuming and lighting.
