NEWS RETROSPECTIVE
   The Louis Wolfson II Florida Moving Image Archive presents a video rewind retrospective of rare news kinescopes from Miami's WCKT-TV, Channel 7. Featuring "Do You Remember Donna," aired September 16, 1961, "Cuba: Days of Decision," aired in 1959, "Puerto De Conflicto," aired April 20, 1958 and "Flight 422," aired April 12, 1962. 1-3 p.m. at the Miami-Dade Public Library Auditorium, 101 W. HOLIDAY FEATURE
   Loews Miami Beach Hotel and The Miami International Film Festival will present a holiday screening party featuring "White Christmas." Sip Francis Ford Coppola's Sofia champagne and munch on popcorn under the stars while viewing this 1954 classic. 7:30 p.m. at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, Americana Lawn, 1601 Collins Ave., Miami Beach. VIDEO REWIND
    The Louis Wolfson II Florida Moving Image Archive presents a retrospective of news kinescopes from Miami's WCKT-TV, Channel 7. Featuring three programs. "The Quiet Flame," aired June 21, 1964, examines a cell of the Pacifist Organization Committee for Non-Violent Action. "Upward Miami," aired late 1960s, focused on the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's efforts to revitalize the City of Miami. "Wayne Fariss Reports: Partners in Crime," aired November 26, 1967, where WCKT staged various crimes, such as purse snatchings, while hidden cameras captured public reaction. 1-3 p.m. at the Miami-Dade Public Library Auditorium, 101 W.
