SPECIAL EVENTS Thursday 12/9 PRESENTING CELIA CRUZThe Miami-Dade Public Library presents an exhibition celebrating the facets of Celia Cruz's life through the lens of photographer Alexis Rodriguez-Duarte's 15-year association with her. HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE Baptist Health is sponsoring a holiday gift drive to benefit Safe Space South. Safe Space South is an emergency shelter for women seeking to escape domestic violence. TWENTY DAYS OF GIVING Van Michael Miami Salon will host a holiday food drive to benefit the Daily Bread Food Bank, a non-profit service dedicated to feeding South Florida's less fortunate and improving their lives. RECOGNITION LUNCHEON The Health Foundation of South Florida will present an awards ceremony where two individuals will receive the Concern Award and a $25,000 grant.
