PRESENTING CELIA CRUZ
The Miami-Dade Public Library presents an exhibition celebrating the facets of Celia Cruz’s life through the lens of photographer Alexis Rodriguez-Duarte’s 15-year association with her. The North Miami WinterNational Festival will feature a parade, craft show, carnival and entertainment. Clowns and magicians will entertain. Other performances will include martial arts and dance demonstrations. THE DAY AFTER
The "Lumpy Sue Acoustic MusicFest" will be held for those families who need something to do the day after Thanksgiving. This outdoor concert will feature performances by local talents. Developed to preserve and promote acoustic music the concert will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami. The Laughing Gas improv toupe will present Jim Rosenkrans’ 17th annual Toys for Tots Run. The troupe will present 90 minutes of interactive comedy based on audience suggestions. FESTIVAL OF TREES
The Festival of Trees exhibition, a compilation of dozens of South Florida design professionals, will open with an awards gala ceremony. Radio Disney AM 990 will present "A Holiday Wonderland." Families can listen to carolers will enjoying milk and cookies with Santa Claus.
