YAPPY HOUR

   Animal Fair Magazine and the Sheraton Miami Biscayne Bay co-host a doggie cocktail party in honor of the Humane Society of Greater Miami. The Humane Society is devoted to rescuing and adoption homeless and abused animals. The event will also feature the release of Wendy Diamond’s new book "What a Lucky Dog: How to Understand Men Through Their Dogs." 7-9 p.m. at the Sheraton Miami Biscayne Bay, 495 Brickell Ave., Miami. $25-$35. MAGIC SHOW

   The New Wave Magic Show starring Kevin and Caruso will be performed in South Florida. COMEDY NIGHT

   The Miami Improv will present actor/comedian Bill Bellamy.    The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce presents "Chamber Open" a golf tournament. HERENCIA HISPANA

   Miami-Dade transit will conduct a series of tours, Herencia Hispana, in recognition of Hispanic Heritage month. The three-hour tours will be offered in English and Spanish aboard air-conditioned Metrobuses. The early history of Spaniards in South Florida and migratory trends will be discussed. CUTLER DAYS FESTIVAL

   The Deering Estate at Cutler will host Cutler Days, a weekend heritage festival celebrating the history of pioneers in South Florida.    Florida International University’s College of Business Administration’s Alumni Chapter will host an Alumni Fun Day.    Hospice Care of Southeast Florida Inc., which provides services to Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties, will host a chili cook-off fundraising event. HOSPITAL BENEFIT

   Baptist Hospital is hosting its annual ball, Noche Tropical, to benefit the Neuroscience Center. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

   Miami-Dade County Department of Human Services and Safespace Foundation, Inc. will host a domestic violence march in memory of Ms. Gladys Ricart and all victims of domestic violence.
