'BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN'
The Wolfsonian-FIU and the Miami International Film Festival will sponsor a showing of "Battleship Potemkin," Sergei Einstein's 1925 film based on a true story about how unbearable conditions on a Russian ship incited a revolution among sailors and citizens in the harbor town of Odessa. 7 p.m. at 1001 Washington Ave., Miami Beach. FILM FESTIVAL
Cinema Paradiso, a Fort Lauderdale art-film exhibitor, is hosting the three-week Perrier French Film Festival. 'LAST NIGHT IN CUBA'
The Institute for Cuban and Cuban-American Studies at the University of Miami will show "Last Night in Cuba," a documentary that reviews the circumstances surrounding the exodus from Cuba to the US from 1960 to 1964.
