CHILDREN Thursday 7/1 KIDSCENE CAMPMiami Dade College will hold a summer camp for children 5-11 that will focus on reading, computers and drama. Ira Sullivan, a Grammy-nominated jazz artist; Phil Strange, a prizewinning pianist; South Florida's Joe Donato; and other musical artists will instruct the campers. All musicians welcome. 'HANSEL AND GRETEL' The Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre will recreate the classic children's story "Hansel and Gretel" as a musical featuring works from the opera by Engelbert Humperdink. The play follows Gretel, a poor woodcutter's daughter, and her brother Hansel as they journey into a mysterious forest that is home to fairies, the Sandman and a hungry witch.
