'THE ART OF THE CLOSE'

   MIAMIntelligence will offer a seminar that examines the science that underlies the plot of the summer disaster movie "The Day After Tomorrow." Paleoclimatologist and University of Miami professor Larry C. Peterson will discuss ice cores, ocean circulation and real climate events that occurred during and near the end of the last Ice Age.
