FILM FESTIVAL
   The Miami Beach Cinematheque will hold the 8th annual Brazilian Film Festival that will include a screening of "Bye, Bye Brazil," a film about a traveling group of musicians and performers that entertain the Brazilian masses. The festival will Jose Wilker, a prominent Brazilian actor, with the "Jose Wilker Retrospective" and photography exhibition depicting "The Career of Jose Wilker." 8:30 p.m. at Miami Beach Cinematheque, 512 Espanola Way, Miami Beach. $8-$10. 'AL FILO DEL MACHETE'

   The Miami Beach Cinematheque will hold a Meet the Director" session with Stan Jakubowicz to introduce and discuss his short film "Distance" narrated by Oscar-winning actress Ellen Burstyn as well as the feature film "Waking up from the American dream." 'RULES OF THE GAME'
