'THE UNDERPANTS'
   The Actor's Playhouse will present Steve Martin's adaptation of Carl Sternheim's comedy written in 1910 that tells the story of the young wife of a puritanical bureaucrat who has allowed her underpants to fall to the ground at a parade for the king. The play addresses the issues of race, women's rights and a husband's ownership of his wife. 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays through June 13 at the Miracle Theatre, 280 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables. $35-$40. 'COOKIN' AT THE COOKERY'
   The Coconut Grove Playhouse will open the season with "Cookin' at the Cookery: The Music and Times of Alberta Hunter," a musical biography of the blues singer told through renditions of her blues and jazz songs. 'REBEL WITHOUT A PAUSE'
   The Miami Light Project, a nonprofit organization that brings live performances by artists from around the world to Miami in support of the local artistic community, will present comedic off-Broadway performer Reno in her solo work 'Unrestrained Reflections on September 11th.' 8 p.m. at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, 201 SW 5th Ave., Fort Lauderdale. $22-$27.50. THEATRE FESTIVAL
   Teatro Avante and American Airlines will hold the 19th annual International Hispanic Theatre Festival, a two-week event that will showcase theatrical productions taken from the Spanish and Latin American stages. The festival will bring the productions to Miami, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Homestead and Fort Lauderdale and will feature post-performance forums after each opening show. June 4-June 20. $25.
