AGE OF ENLIGHTMENT EXHIBITION

An exhibition of Francois-Marie Banier’s collection of photographs and sketches ranging from images of everyday people to celebrity portraits. His most recent work involves handwritten texts layered on top of his photographs. Through May 30 at Bass Art Museum, 2121 Park Ave., Miami Beach. Miami Dade College will showcase students’ work in annual exhibition. Painting, drawing, photography and other mediums showcased. Displays in Centre Gallery and Fifth Floor. Exhibition of the work of Russell Crotty, an amateur astronomer known for ballpoint-pen drawings of the night sky. The Miami Art Museum is commissioning the artist to create a new globe of the night skies over the Everglades as a tribute to one of Florida’s unique natural resources. Through June 27. 101 W.
