'ARABIAN NIGHTS'
   "Arabian Nights," a play that re-creates two tales from a faraway land; "The Ebony Horse," which shows that creative ideas are more valuable than possessions; and "The Fisherman and the Genie," an adventure that ends in the discovery that freedom is a gift that cannot be taken for granted. 'A PICASSO'
   The Coconut Grove Playhouse presents play set in Paris during the German occupation that details the interrogation of Pablo Picasso by a female Gestapo officer regarding the authenticity of three paintings left behind by people fleeing the Nazi regime. 3500 Main Highway, Coconut Grove. 'SWEET CHARITY'
   The University of Miami Department of Theatre Arts presents the Broadway musical about a dance-hall hostess looking for love in all the wrong places as choreographed by Bob Fosse and written by Neil Simon with music and lyrics by Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields. 8 p.m. today (4/22) and Friday and 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday at Jerry Herman Ring Theatre, University of Miami, 1312 Miller Dr., Coral Gables. $10-$16. OFF-BROADWAY HIT
   Coconut Grove Playhouse presents "Fully Committed," an exposition of bad behavior when desperate diners try to get into one of New York's red-hot, fully booked restaurants. A cast of desperate callers will stop at nothing in their obsession to obtain a reservation and fabulous table at the restaurant. Through May 9. Tickets are $25 and $30. 'WHITE PEOPLE'
   The New Theatre presents play about three characters that tell their stories in monologue form.
